Tomorrow is our neighbour's Golden Wedding Anniversary. I've been trying - and failing - to think of the right card for them, until DH suggested simplifying and not getting out my colouring pens. Drat, I love to colour :), but he's right, this is much more suitable for them. Here's to Mary & Jack!
I got my Glimmer Mists out in gold, sunflower and yellow daisy and sprayed white cardstock. I stamped and cut the numbers from it, they are Dimension Fourth stamps, and then a piece for my card. The branches are from an Inkadinkado set, stamped in brown with the birds added in black. The sentiment is an old Personal Impressions stamp. I stamped a bit more in gold ink onto the bronze paper across the card and added some Liquid Pearls to make berries on the bushes. Matted onto gold mirri card, this is one of those cards that looks better in real life:).
I've used a lovely sketch from Crazy4Challenges for my card and the Belli Challenge to add in colour spray reminded me to get out my Glimmer Mists, thanks Belli!
