I'm sure I'm not the only person guilty of downloading free digis without being too discriminating, just because they are there:). This one is however a freebie I'm delighted to have. It comes from NinaMay Designs who have a challenge to make a clean and simple card with it. I gave the digi really minimal colouring with Copics, matted it, added some Cuttlebugged cardstock the colour of the butterfly, a little ribbon and an Elusive Images sentiment stamp. Hooray at least I've managed to complete something today... I'm entering it for the Thank You card theme at I Love Digi Challenge.I'm really struggling to get creative at the moment, last night everything I started seemed to go wrong so I had a play with some papers... Craft Stamper magazine has an article about Distress Ink backgrounds so I had a play with them but wasn't pleased with the results.
So I got out Glimmer Mists and Cosmic Shimmers and sprayed some A4 cardstock. I'm still not feeling inspired but now I have very inky fingers:)

Hugs! I know how frustrating it can be when nothing feels right and mojo is doing its rounds someplace else! I love the card though so you must have SOME shreds of mojo still stashed away! :)

Love this simple pretty image. Lovely color palet, too. Doesn't look to me like your mojo is missing, this card is fabulous.
I finally went thru the enormous amount of digis I had downloaded and purged.. my computer breathed a sigh of relief!

Anne - this is a great card - lovely the colours, and the texture background really makes it pop.

I love that digi too! I have so many I downloaded and did not label- so do not know where they are from! Oh- your backgrounds are great- need the right stamps- AND I bet if you put them through a Cuttlebug and highlighted the embossing, they would look even better! Hugs
