$15 Prize Package of yummy goodies chosen by Judy from Pizzazz APlenty
$30 Gift Certificate to the Fred She Said Store

The WINNER will be announced Saturday morning July 30th on the Fred She Said Blog AND the FSS Challenge Blog.

Now you have the info, I'd like to tell you a little about my favourite!  I looked through my FSS digis and I looked through the shop and I was completely unable to choose my favourite image, there are so many that I love!  So I've picked one of my favourite things, in one of my favourite images - yes - that would be chocolate lol!  The sentiments that come with the image are just perfect aren't they?  Better than Chocolate is a Valentine's Day set, but I think chocolate is for all year round, not just Valentine's Day:).

I've printed it off a few times and decoupaged it, the base layer has been cut with a Nestie, dry embossed with Swiss Dots and then inked with Distress Ink.  The chocolates have some Glossy Accents to give them a shine and there is a touch of Stickles on the rose on top of the box.  I hope you can see all the layers in the detail piccie below. The DP is Prima, I have only added a bow as the image is so beautiful it doesn't need lots of extra embellies.
Thanks for looking at my card, your next stop along the Hop is with  "Fred" herself, our talented Tracey at the CHALLENGE BLOG.

I've found a few challenges to enter my card in:
Pixie Cottage - fun with food
Creative Craft Challenges - 3D it
KB Cute Monday - use a digistamp

Little Lemon Bird

I think this image from A Day for Daisies looks like a fantasy goldfinch on a fantasy thistle plant, so that settled the colours as lilac and lemon, which fits both Simon Says and A Day for Daisies challenges for this week.  Pretty, isn't it?  I think it could also be a Christmas bird with a bit of tweaking of the colours...

The card is pretty clean and simple, image is coloured with Distress Inks, Copics and Glossy accents.  Sentiment is from Craftwork Cards, it is lilac though it doesn't look it in the photo.  Flowers are punched with Card Candy middles, DP is Crafty Individuals and Daisy Bucket, I used a Martha Stewart punch.

My card is for the following challenges:
Pixie Cottage - sketch
A Day for Daisies - pastels but no pink
Truly Scrumptious - things with wings
Simon Says - lemon and lavender
Digital Tuesday - flower power
Digi Design House - handmade flower
Forever Friends - birthday and animal
The Crafty Pad - soft pastels
Paper Sundaes - sundae bar, I picked purple and wings

Phindy's Place Challenge #54 - Embossing

Good morning and welcome to this week's Phindy's Place Challenge, which is to use embossing, dry, heat or both on your card.  You don't have to use one of Phindy's images, but we love it when you do - and you get a second entry into the prize draw!  I used the adorable Kitty Cargo image for my card, colouring it with Copics and Distress Inks.  I've heat embossed my sentiment (Personal Impression stamps combined) and dry emobssed the wall at the top of the card.  The DP is more of that delicious Memory Box Brioche, ribbon came from my DT friend Kathy in a blog candy a while back, I have put eyelets in the corners.  The sketch is from this week's Pink Elephant Challenge.

My card is for the following challenges:
 Pink Elephant - sketch
Pixie Cottage - one for the boys
Flourishes - for a child under 13
Try it on Tuesday - something old (ribbon) something new (DP)
Use it Tuesday - fasteners - brads
Bunny Zoe - one for the boys
Stamps R Us - masculine
Woodware - blue, yellow, brown

When you've got the full sentence, please post it in the comments on the challenge blog (which will be hidden until the hop is over!  Blog Hop is open until midnight (GMT) 28 April.

Now, on to my card:  I made a fairly simple card for a little boy, the image is called Nap Time and he's almost entirely paper pieced. I've shaded the paper piecing with Copics, the papers are from an old Basic Grey pad called Recess.  The buttons are recycled from my old clothes button box, sentiment is a Joanna Sheen stamp and I've added some baker's twine as a masculine embellie:).

Thank you for visiting my blog, I hoped you liked my card.  Now it's time for you to continue hopping and visit the awesomely talented Ann English.
Oh yes, you want a word from me lol!  My word is Phindy's  :)

Phindy's Place Challenge #43 - Monochromatic

Good Morning and hooray it's Friday!  We are off for a long weekend in East Sussex, leaving Mum to hold the fort at home!   But first, here's my card for this week's Phindy's Place Challenge, which is to make a monochromatic project.  My card has a teenage boy image on it, called Connected Boy, so my card is not just monochromatic, it is most likely monosyllabic too lol!

His top looks brownish, but this was Warm Grey Copics rather than Cool or Toner, I used all my grey pens for this image I think, also Black Soot Distress Ink to edge it.  I based my card on a great sketch from the Pixie Cottage Challenge which is sketch and/or embossing this week.  The black square is Coredinations with a grey background, embossed with a Tim Holtz wall and then distressed, the DP is Stampin' Up.

Hope you like Grumpy George and his grey card:).

My card is for the following challenges:
Pixie Cottage Challenge - sketch and/or embossing
Claudia & Company - about a boy
Totally Papercrafts - do it with digis
Stampin' for the Weekend - monochrome

Life's just beachy

I love this image from Isabella's Sketchbook, I have a couple of these vintage-style beach ladies, this is how a trip to the seaside should be:). It's for Isabella's Challenge this week, which is based around Memorial Day for those who celebrate it and patriotic colours for those who don't. I've used the red, white and blue theme and, instead of Memorial Day, we have the Spring Bank Holiday which should be glorious sunshine and picnics. You'll note that I said should, LOL, it's grey and chilly here and all that you can say is that it's not raining - yet!

I've used a sketch from the Pixie Cottage Challenge for my card, haven't come across their site before. Charisma Cardz has a Going in Circles Challenge, Stamptacular Sunday has Life's a Beach as their theme this week, Cupcake Craft Challenges' theme is Summer Delights and Cute Card Thursday wants us to use no designer papers.

Image is coloured with Copics and cut out. The backgound is made from paper that has been Glimmer Misted. Sentiment is Elusive Images. I've set eyelets into the red circle - woo hoo - finally worked out how to use the setting tool, the white card is dry embossed with a CB folder.
