This week's Less is More Challenge is to make a CAS card using the colours in your bedroom. This made me realise how much I dislike the colourscheme in mine, as and when I move home I will look forward to updating it! The colourscheme is lots of cream, some pale pink and a touch of green. I've used a heavy textured cream cardstock and cut my daisy from this too, using a Sizzix Bigz die that I've had for years and years. The leaf is cut from a scrap, using another Bigz die, Tattered Leaves. The sentiment is Clearly Besotted. I've used Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar on the flower and cut into the petals to make them a bit less uniform. The centre has Glossy Accents on it.
Looking forward to picking up some colourscheme ideas from all the Limettes this week!
The flower is georgous. The colours are lovely on the card even if you don't like them in your bedroom.
ReplyDeleteAwww sorry you don't like your colours but you've given your card some great treatment and a lovely floral pop Anne. Sarah LIM

ReplyDeleteLovely card Anne, that large daisy is stunning! Linda xx
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Anne, but I had to smile when I read you hate your bedroom colours! I love my bedroom, though I'm only there at night, but it always feels like a sanctuary to me. Hope you get time to make over yours and we'd all love to see what you come up with! Hugs, Ann
ReplyDeleteAnne your colors are lovely. Love your flower...
ReplyDeleteHi Anne, Gorgeous flower on your pretty card, the photo seems a little green, I'm sure it isn't IRL Hugs Gay x
ReplyDeleteLet's hope that when you get your new bedroom, you'll love the colours you choose!
