This week the challenge at Less is More is to use any three colours or shades. Things in threes always seem to work well for me and I really enjoyed making my cards. First up are balloons cut using my Portrait from three dotty shades of pink papers. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up and I've used a Pigma permanent pen to give the balloons strings and to extend the sentiment off the page.
My second card uses three colours of Inktense watercolour pencil, scribbled onto cream hammered card and then spritzed with water. I treated myself to a set of Stampin' Up Wetlands stamps recently, having fallen for them in a big way when I played with Chrissie's set and I have then stamped these onto my background panel. There's lots of texture from the cardstock, what do you think?
Anne, I always find myself drawn to your cards. I absolutely love your choices of colour and composition, time after time. So inspiring!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards - your balloon one is so simple but I love your wetland. I think the textured paper and watercolours fit the bill perfectly.
ReplyDeleteLove the dotty balloons card. It's a perfect birthday card for any age. I have the wetland stamp set and it does need speciality paper to be effective. Yours is great. I predict lots of entries for this fun challenge.
ReplyDeleteBoth card are gorgeous Anne, the balloons are cheerful and the wetland scene is very beautiful.
