The theme at CAS-ual Fridays this week is Over the Edge and after a bit of thought I came up with this card. I love the look of over-the-edge but find it impractical to post/give as it's difficult getting an envelope to fit. So my snowflakes hang over the edge of the central panel :). All made from white pearlised card, "strings" are dry embossed, snowflakes cut with my Portrait. Card candi, seam binding and an Inkylicious sentiment complete the card.
I'm also entering Stamping Boutique's CAS challenge.
Smashing make .... and another Christmas card for your 2014 collection!

I feel exactly the same way as you about the over the edge business, so I did what you did and made a central panel to go over the edge of!
ReplyDeleteThis looks terrific, the 'strings' look brilliant!
Good old Portrait I'm so glad you 'made' me buy mine!

Very pretty! I love the snowflakes and the blue enamel dots. That was clever to hang the snowflakes over the edge of the center panel. Thanks for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays!
