Shirleys2Girls' challenge at Twisted Thursday this week is to make the primary colour on your card red and to use the sketch provided by Joy. I was lucky enough to win this great Maisie at the beach stamp in their recent blog hop, which arrived last week (with another couple that somehow got ordered and crept into the package :) ). This was a good opportunity to move away from the pastels I seem to have been using a lot.
I coloured Maisie with watercolour pencils, though I used a Promarker on her sunhat as it was looking a bit blotchy. She's cut out and mounted onto red and the yellow cardstock, with some yellow Stickles on the flower centres. The image and the sentiment are on foam pads to give dimension. Red DP is from an Artylicious CD, ribbon and brads from stash.
