Here's one of the Children's Workshops that I helped at, the youngsters are really creative and I don't know who enjoys it more, the children or the helpers!
This was my absolute favourite quilt. It's part of an invited exhibit called Excellence in Europe and it's by a Norwegian quilter called Solvi L Krokeide. I won't bore you with all the detail shots but this is truly astonishing:

This is the winner of Quilt Creations, which is the category for 3d items: clothing, boxes, books. These are felt flowers by Gillian Travis, who created them from dyed and screen printed felt. Isn't this a brilliant idea?
