Less is More - Week # - one layer

This week is a one layer challenge at Less is More and this month the theme is masculine.  First up is a globe stamped onto cream hammered card and coloured with Distress Inks.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The stamp came from a grab bag of unmounteds that I bought at Ally Pally when I was out on a stash enhancement trip with Chrissie, I think it was from Creative Impressions.
My next card uses some JOFY Christmas star stamps, inked with Memento Ladybug and Dandelion inks. The sentiment is a magazine freebie.  This time the card is made from linen textured card.
I hope my final card gives you a giggle, this chap is an Acid Drops and What-Nots stamp, coloured with Copics and with a doodled border.

So many of us say that cards for chaps are hard to make, I'm looking forward to lots of inspiration from the LIMettes!

  1. Great cards, Anne. Love your last card, and those sketchy stars look great in red and yellow x

  2. That last card really makes me smile - it would be perfect for my husband :) Great globe stamp too. You have all styles and ages covered here, Anne!

  3. Your final card soooo made me giggle - love it!

  4. You've made quite a contribution for those seeking masculine card ideas! The 'world' is a wonderful idea and on hammered card even makes it more masculine, I think. The last one is good for a laugh and would work for most men except the most sensitive.

  5. Fabulous male cards, I especially like the globe!

  6. The one you posted on LIM is my fave. It's so fun. Off to the challenge I go.

  7. Great inspiration cards Anne, thx
    Hugs, Veerle

  8. Fantastic and striking one layer cards Anne, but you know me ... can't resist a 6-pack! LOL! great image and sentiment. Sarah x

  9. Great cards! The male 6 pack gave me a good laugh :)

  10. Excellent masculine cards! You really did a fabulous job with these!

  11. Excellent masculine cards! You really did a fabulous job with these!

  12. Brilliant male cards, Anne, love the third card, it's so fun.

    Love and hugs

    1. Great cards again Anne, I struggled a bit this week ;) Viv xx
