This week at Less is More our CAS challenge is animals - a nice easy challenge, at least for me - so many of my stamps, dies, papers, feature animals! First up is a playful retriever: Memory Box sunburst meets Impression Obsession dog. The rustic twine looks suitably hairy for a canine card! Stampin Up sentiment in Sepia Versafine.
I'm entering my card for:
Creative Moments - anything goes animals
Inky Impressions - animals
The second card was cut with my Portrait with a file from the Silhouette store, washi tape added and some gem eyes. Of course I also have the reverse image, but haven't found a glue that will permanently stick it down... The sentiment is by Hobby Art.
I'm entering my card for:
Cute Card Thursday - clean and simple
Crafting for all Seasons - feature a creature
And finally, I've made quite a few ovine cards lately, here is one a little different from my 'Ewe' paper pieced flock, this is a new stamp I got from Inky Doodles, aren't they cute!
Front sheep is popped up on dimensional dots. The border was coloured with Copic to match the woolly jumper. I was going to add some glitter but felt that it needed to be kept simple.
I'm entering my card for:
Winter Wonderland - Christmas
2 Cute Ink - animals
I'm looking forward to seeing a real menagerie in the entries this week :)
Three fab cards, Anne. I particularly love your second card, that cat is so elegant! Hugs x
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards, I particularly love the dog.
ReplyDeleteFab cards Anne love the 1st one xx Jan
ReplyDeleteThree super cards Anne, I love them all but my fave is the first, that cat image is brilliant on the circle :D gay x
ReplyDeleteThese are great cards - fab CAS designs and each so different! Love the dog and those Inky Doodles sheep are so cute :)
ReplyDeleteLove your animal cards, Anne - a cat, dog and sheep - well done! I'm intrigued with your sketchy cat cut with your Silhouette - I am a new owner of the Portrait model, and have only cut simple shapes so far - it's a steep learning curve!
ReplyDeleteAnne these are stunning CAS design, each with its own unique character.

ReplyDeleteAll 3 of your cards have something unique about them, very well done. Thanks for sharing with us at Creating for all Seasons. Barb DT
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your cards. If I had to pick a favourite, it would be under duress, but would probably be your second one with the bare basics of a cat outline. That is pure elegance and simplicity. My next favourite would be the dog. Poor sheep---I really do like the card and being third is not that dreadful, is it?
ReplyDeleteCute cards Anne! Love the sheep...
ReplyDeleteSuperb cards Anne as always. Loving that cute dog jumping out of the hole. So cute.
