Less Is More - one layer framed

Some days it really is better to walk away from the craft room and today just may be one of them lol!  I wanted to make a one layer card for Less Is More, which needs a frame to it.  I took the opportunity to pull out my new stamps from last week's foray to the Craft Barn, and made a window scene using the blocks and the Tuscany sets, which I was quite pleased with.  So it was annoying, to say the least, to get a socking big mark on the card.

That took ages so I had a change of plan and pulled out the Lindsay Duncan fairy set, made a mask and Distress Inked inside it.  It needed a bit of something else, so I added some Stickles.  Then when I went to photograph it I added Stickles to most of the card, by mistake.  Drat.

The next card looked great, I like the more intense colour.  When I went to take a picture I realised that my mask hadn't covered all of the LH side and there is an inky margin.  Double drat.   At least this one will be salvageable...

And the final card is ok.  No inky marks, no Stickles disasters.  So why oh why will the photo only load to my blog the wrong way round?  This happened yesterday when I was trying to post some of the wedding photos.  Please can anyone tell me what to do to put this right?  PS After rotating the image all the way through 4 turns and saving each time, finally success!

My card is for the following challenges:
Less is More - in the frame
Annabelle Stamps - masking and sponging
Ai Factory - use something new (stamp)
Crafty Sentiments - add some sparkle

  8. Sounds like a typical day in my craft room Anne!
Did you mean that your last card just happened to post upside down? That's odd, just try rotating it and re-post. What an odd occurrence!
    The card is finally fabulous!
    Thanks again.

  27. All of the cards are lovely. I especially like the fairies - you've inspired me to get out my Graphicus fairy silhouettes stamps.
I got ink all over my projects at the beginning - i dread to think how much card was destroyed by inky fingers!
Why is that some days we are the dog and other days the lamp post?
    Lol Kx
