Summer Snooze

I coloured up this little mouse while I was on holiday and I'm really pleased with the way the poppy turned out, I've found this difficult before and I think I've over-complicated it by trying to use too many reds.  This week House Mouse & Friends celebrate their 100th Challenge so I thought I'd make him up into a card to enter - do check it out - they have some amazing prizes and candy!  I've followed Sketch'n'Stash's layout, using Memory Box Brioche DP.  The sentiment is also House Mouse, I've added tiny bits of bling to the dots of the I and the exclamation mark as well as bling in the corners.  The tiny buttons have thread knotted in them and the seam binding bow matches the length of it around the card square.  Didn't add it to the length as I didn't want to obscure his little tail!  Congratulations and best wishes to all those lovely ladies (and gentlemen) at House Mouse & Friends, they are one of the best teams for commenting on entries, thank you!
My card is for the following challenges:

House Mouse & Friends - buttons, bows and bling
Sketch'n'Stash - sketch
Stamptacular Sunday - animal antics
Papertake Weekly - getting cute
Fuzzy Wuzzy - animal + punches
Creative Stamp Friends - summer
Die Cut Dreams -animal antics
I Did it Creations - animals
One Stitch at a Time - flowers
Scrappy Frogs - summer flowers

Dotty lady

Happy Easter to everyone, I hope you've enjoyed the sunshine and eaten lots of chocolate:).
I saw some gorgeous Cosmo Cricket DP in the Stamp Attic last week, there is also a big floral paper that goes with these.  Had to make a spotty, stripy card with them and this is what I came up with:).  The image is Corset from A Day for Daisies, this time I have coloured her with Copics,  I tried to give her spots on her bodice using my blender pen but wasn't happy with it so I added some white gel pen spots instead!  The card follows the sketch at My Time Made Easy and has some ribbon, tiny pink pearls and a MS punched border.
My card is for the folloiwng challenges:
My Time Made Easy - sketch
A Day for Daisies - dots and stripes
Papertake Weekly - spots n stripes
Creative Inspirations - digi day
I Did It Creations - 3 embellies, 2 papers, 1 image
Do it With Digis - 3 embellies, 2 papers, 1 image
Catered Crop - recipe, I included Copics, digi, stripes, pastels, white pen

High Hopes

I've got some bright cheerful colours in my card for a bright and sunny Spring day, the sun is shining and I wish I didn't have to go to work :).  This is another of Phindy's adorable Wee Babbies series, this is called High Hopes and you can buy it here. For some reason I thought of this as a girl babbie, but I see others think this is a boy, so I think the answer must be that it all depends on the colours you use and the card you make:).

The sentiment is Stampin Up and it shows how reliant I am on my beloved digis, I had several attempts before I got it to stamp out perfectly - oops!  This is a fairly simple card, the DP is from Basic Grey Marjolaine, the nearly plain paper from the pack is dry embossed and inked, I made tiny flowers with an EK punch and gave them gem centres.

My card is for the following challenges:
Sew Many Cards - sketch
Going Grey with Scrap Creations - spring has sprung
Tuesday Morning Sketches - K.I.D.S. - keep it delightfully simple
KB Cute Monday - babies
Make it Monday - anything goes
Stamp With Fun - spring
I Did it Creations - welcome spring

Phindy's Place Challenge #46 - Get Well Soon / Thinking of You

Welcome to Friday and another fun Phindy's Place Challenge. This week we're making Get Well Soon or Thinking of You cards.  I've kept mine failry clean and simple, using a boy image called Bug Buddy, with a computer generated sentiment that I think fits it down to the ground:).  Image is coloured with Copics and I've echoed his strip top with the DP and the ribbon.  The DP came in a bargain bundle and I'm afraid I've no idea who made it, shame as I'd have liked more of this stripe!
My card is for the following challenges:
Crafty Purple Frog - things with wings (ladybird)
Paper Crafting Journey - things with wings
Paper Sundaes - stripes
The Paper Variety - get well soon
Creative Card Crew - no flowers (blimey I don't make many cards that fit this theme!)
Paper Playtime - anything goes with a digi

On the subject of orchids...

For Valentine's Day I got a bee-yootiful orchid along with a tiny heart shaped fishing fly from my DH which reminded me that there is a free digi of an orchid on offer from A Day For Daisies, provided you enter their challenge.  I love these designs which are a little different from so many others out there, when my stash diet is over I plan to do a bit of shopping there:).   The challenge is Heavy Metal Rocks and I used mirri card and 3 different metallic ribbons do give this element as I tried adding metallics to the orchid and didn't like the effect.
The card is fairly clean and simple, it follows Saturday Sketcher's layout.  Image is coloured with Copics, DP is Basic Grey Porcelain and the rhinestones are Stampin' Up.

My card is for the following challenges:
A Day for Daisies - heavy metal rocks
Papertake Tuesday - putting on the glitz
Craft Your Passion - use pink
I Did It - bling it up
Paper Sundaes - toppings - I used pink and flowers

Determination

I've seen so many great cards made with this image from Phindy's Place and decided I'd better make one too! I got a bit stuck on the sentiment and opted for one from Paulette at  Create with TLC. Phindy has designed several of these images, you can choose girl, boy, glasses, Afro American, Caucasian, I chose Big Boots girl

The card is based on this week's challenge at Friday Sketchers, the large circle is cut freehand then embossed and inked with Distress Ink.  I used brads to attach the sentiment, then I took silver card candy and scored lines in it from the wrong side to make more screws, which kept the weight of the card down.
My card is for the following challenges:
Friday Sketchers - sketch
Woodware USA  - anything goes
I Did It Creations - card for a child
Stamp Fairy - Circles and more circles
Cute Card Thursday - 1-2-3 recipe - 1 image, 2 cardstock circles, 3 sets of "screws"
Critter Challenge Blog - Distressing and circles
