Here's one more Easter/Spring image I just couldn't resist - this adorable digi image is called My Baby! and it comes from Phindy's Place. I've made Mum into a Light Sussex hen, she seems that kind of shape somehow. At this time of year I miss having chickens, but I don't miss it when the water supply is frozen and the ground muddy, or when it's light till 10pm and I can't get them shut in safely until dark:).
Hen, chick and eggshell are all printed and coloured twice and popped onto silicon glue for 3d interest. There is raffia "straw" under Mum and some tiny feathers on the chick and beside the flowers (kindly donated by DH from his fly-tying supplies!). Image coloured with copics, Glossy Accents on eggs and Distress Ink edging the image. DP is Basic Grey, raffia from stash, flowers from stash and coloured with Distress Inks. Card candy from Craftwork Cards.
I've based my card on the Sketch and Stash Challenge: new stash is the digi image and the Basic Grey DP. I'd like to claim the feathers as new stash but I think DH would have something to say about too many feathers disappearing - though he's been borrowing my Copics tonight to make barred marking on his feathers - LOL. Totally Papercraft's theme is Let's Go Digital, Cute Card Thursday's Challenge is So Egg-citing, and both Fussy & Fancy and DareU2Digistamp have their theme as Easter.
