DT Post - Phindy's Place Friday Challenge - Favourite Image

Thank goodness it's Friday, it's been a long week! Friday means it's time for Phindy's Place Friday Challenge, which this week is simply to use your favourite Phindy image. I thought this was a really easy theme - until I began to think about it and wonder how I could possibly, ever choose just one favourite! Mostly the favourite is the one I just bought or am about to buy, what about you? In the end I had to opt for Sleigh Ride, with its pair of Fjord horses. When Phindy designed this perfect image (perfect for me because I have a much loved Fjord horse) I was completely overwhelmed and couldn't wait to colour it and use it. I think I've made more cards with this than any other Phindy image, because I love it so much.

I printed my image as a grey rather than black, did you know your digis don't have to be black? Insert your image into a Word document and the Picture Tools menu should come up. This gives you the option to re-colour, there are seven options under light variations.

This time I tried to make it a very neutral coloured card ,with the intention of using a DP that I bought and love so much I don't cut into it. However with the green for the tree it didn't quite work and I opted for some Magnolia DP that I bought at the same time and also spent a lot of time dithering about using, isn't it gorgeous?:). The image is coloured with Copics, snowflake brad is Papermania and has some Platinum Stickles on it. Branch is cut with an EK success punch, Picket Fence was made using my new Martha Stewart punch, sentiment is Craftwork Cards. I've used the sketch from Sketch and Stash Challenge to base my card on, hope you like it.
