Just because...
Here's a card using Phindy O'Neill's image, Birds Go By , it's not made for a challenge, it's a very simple design for a fishing friend of DH who is suffering from a degenerative disease, a "Get Well Soon" message is not appropriate so I computer generated the sentiment. Watercoloured using Distress Inks, the DP is K&K.
At last, the thaw is taking effect and we can see grass. It's raining hard, the lower part of the horse's field is under water, but they are ecstatic that there is some brown, shabby looking grass to eat instead of boring old hay. Hay's £4.50 a bale so I'm pretty happy too :)

Anne this is beautiful, love the colors and your coloring is fabulous. To answer your question that you left in the comments on my blog my bday is the 22nd this month too :)
ReplyDeleteAlways love a card when there is a cat involved. Beautiful... Here's hoping your friend has an enjoyable day. Cards always bring a smile, and smiles are really good when you are ill. (Speaking from experience...I'm a cancer survivor!)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image and I love the paper you used.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely serene card, Anne. Perfect for letting someone know you are thinking about them.
ReplyDeleteThe snow has all gone here, it's so strange to see green again, although it's all pretty soggy!!
