I've sat down and given a number to each follower and to each first comment left on the candy post. That gave me a number range from 1 to 103. I used Random.org to generate a random number, which gave me 39. Unfortunately I fell at the last hurdle: I didn't manage to transfer the random.org widget onto this posting :(.
