The giraffe that is! The poor chap's throat is tied in a knot but his request sounds more like he may have overindulged the night before to me... As soon as I saw CAS colours and sketches challenge this week I thought this previously uninked stamp would be perfect for the shape of their sketch.
He's coloured with Copics (E08, YR12, YR31) and the DP behind is from an old Basic Grey autumnal pad.
The background paper picks up the skin pattern of your poor giraffe very well. Thanks for joining us at CC&S this week. Stef x
ReplyDeleteHa, what a great image/sentiment pairing! Thanks for playing along with us at CC&S!
ReplyDeletePoor giraffe, but a fabulous fun image and sentiment. Great use of the CC&S sketch. Thanks for playing.
ReplyDeleteFun image and sentiment, beautifully coloured too. Great use of the sketch & thanks for joining in at CC&S this week. Hugs Bev x
ReplyDeleteThe poor giraffe does look a bit unsteady on his feet, which works so well with both the sentiment and the tilted panel of the sketch! Thanks for making me smile, and for sharing your card with us at CC&S! :)
ReplyDeleteThis really made me smile - I know how he feels! If only we could customise our coffees that way! Lovely colouring and a gorgeous background too. Thanks for joining us at CC&S this week. Caro x
