Less is More - Week #248

This week at "Less is More" we are challenging you to make a paper pieced card.  My first card was made at elder son's request, one of his schoolfriends has just had a baby boy.  It uses Pink Petticoat design paper and digi image.  I am so sad that Liz is shutting up shop soon, her papers and images are well suited to CAS designs and I have many of them.  I made a frame for the elephant using Simon Says Stamp stitched squares and added some baby blue gems.
My other card uses snippets of bright Basic Grey papers on a kraft card background.  The stamps are Technique Tuesday and the sentiment is Whiff of Joy.  I don't have any of the enamel dots that are so popular at the moment, so I went retro and used tiny metal brads for some birdseed.

  1. The both cards are gorgeous. Love the kraft card, which is so fun and loving those cute mini brads/dots x I'm not a paper piecer but have loved the DT inspiration and Val's wonderful card so really must give it a go! Thanks again x

  5. 2 brilliant paper-pieced works of art Anne. Those birds are simply awesome and I do love the Pink Petticoat adorable elephant. Bit of a shock that Liz has closed the doors - I've bought loads of her digis over the years. Have a great week. Sarah x
