This week at
Less is More Chrissie has designed a fab sketch to inspire us. On Thursday she came up to help me celebrate a milestone birthday and, of course, we got inky. I had two sets of Aquatints Inks arrived and we played with them. The background to my first card is one of the experimental sheets I painted. I have topped it with a panel that has a Memory Box fern cut from it and then I trimmed down the diecut and added it to loosely interpret the sketch. The sentiments are Stampin Up. This card has lots of NBUS going on: the inks, the die cut fern and the diecut panel for the sentiment.
My second card uses a favourite stampset, it is a more literal interpretation of the sketch, using washi tape and Avery Elle Storybook stamps and dies. The balloon is cut from a scrap of patterned paper.
I hope your enjoy using the sketch as a starting point for your CAS creation!
Congratulations on your milestone birthday Anne hope you had a great day.... Certainly looks like you had some fun with the new goodies. Great cards again this week. Xx
