Less is More Week 169 - a sketch

This week's Less is More Challenge is to make your CAS card based on this simple sketch.  My first card uses the Stampin' Up Build a Bird punch.  I've coloured my kraft card birds with a bit of Distress Ink and given them a pop hole.  The sentiment is from Joanna Sheen.  I can't decide whether this is a young bird being fed in the nest or a lovely-dovey pair of birds, could be either...

Second card is cut with my Portrait, uses soft pastel shades and a Stampin' Up sentiment.

I'm entering a few challenges with my cards:
Just a Note:
 Get Inky - die cuts
Simon Says - clean and simple
Sisterhood of Crafters - things with wings

Butterfly Birthday
Scrappers Delight - pretty pastels
Simon Says - clean and simple
Stempelgarten - pastel colours mix

  2. Both great cards Anne but the bird one is definitely close to my heart! I currently have blue tits nesting in a bird box on the side of my house and am highly entertained with their antics on our bird cam - might have to make a similar card to celebrate the arrival of he chicks when they eventually hatch. Great use of the sketch.
