The theme for Less is More this week is Music. My stamp is a large Imag-e-nation stamp which I hadn't thought of for a CAS card. However when I got it out to use the sentiment (which is included with the stamp) I decided that, unadorned, it works fine as a one layer card. What do you think? I've put it on a tent-folded card and coloured with Koh-i-Nor pencils, blended with Sansodor.
My card is also for:
Delicious Doodles - no designer papers
Delightful Challenges - think spring (pastel colours)
My next card to show stems from an addiction. My name is Anne and I am addicted to 6x6 paper pads! I have decided that I must buy NO MORE PADS until I have used some up totally. So I took a nearly full pad from the drawer and it will stay upon my craft desk until I have used it all up.
My card is for CAS(E) this Sketch and uses a Stampin' Bella sentiment and stamp. I've used silicon glue to give the figure dimension, she is paper pieced and coloured with Copics. The "ribbon" is also from the DP. I hope to blog some more cards from my Out of Print paper pad this week...
This card is also for:
Marker POP Challenge - texturising
Eclectic Ellapu - anything girly
One Stitch at a Time - anything goes
Basic Grey - your favourite... technique (paper piecing), DPs - Basic Grey of course!
Love both cards Anne, super paper piecing, here is another addict who likes the idea of working through a whole paper pad. xx Flora
ReplyDeleteThese are both fab Anne, I love the touch of music on the LIM one and the second one is really trendy!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much

Good luck with using all of a paper pad!! I always worry that I will use my favorite pattern on a card that I don't love - so I always keep some of that pad around for the perfect time - then it NEVER gets used!!?? Thanks for joining us at CAS(E) this Sketch!
ReplyDeleteLovely LIM card - great card and so delicately coloured!
ReplyDeleteBoth fabulous cards Anne, I love your paper piecing with the BG on that adorable image!!

Hi Anne. Your LIM card is beautiful. Love the lillies. I love papers too but don't use them to full advantage. Your second card looks great. x
ReplyDeleteFab cards Anne. Love your LIM design, beautifully coloured too.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the paper piecing on the other card, and like Kim S said, Good Luck using up all your paper pad - I don't think I've ever used one completely! xx
Hola Anne, i´m glad to see you!!!:D
ReplyDeleteBeauttiful cards Anne, the LIM card is very romantic, i like the soft colours, great stamp i thought it was masking technique! and the second is a fantastic paper piecing technique, a good work Anne.
A warm hug from Palma
That is a fab stamp Ann, the flowers are beautifully coloured.
ReplyDeleteI did titter at your comment about paper. I have more paper than I will ever use but every time Dovecraft bring out a new First Edition pad I HAVE to have the 8" one...... Oh well at least I don't have any other vices, it could be worse! Good luck with YOUR challenge (that paper is really nice though LOL)
Many thanks for joining in with our 'Anything Goes' challenge over at OSAAT & hope to see you back again soon.
