This week at Phindy's Place we are challenging you to make something with a vintage style. Phindy's been drawing some fabulous new images recently and I chose Potted Primroses for my card. I printed and coloured four times and made a decoupaged card. There is lovely detail on the image but it has a very clean outline, perfect for this technique. I followed the layout from Sketch Saturday, added some embossing and buttons.
My card is also for the following challenges:
Sketch Saturday - sketch
Aud Sentiments - anything goes
Craft us Crazy - favourite stamp company - easy one, Phindy's designs have been my favourite ever since I discovered them!
C.R.A.F.T. - buttons
Crop Stop - emboss it
Do You Stack Up - circles
Little Miss Muffet - May flowers
Papercrafting Journey - vintage
My Mum's Craft Shop - embossing
Paper Pretties - flowers
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Tuesday Throwdown - in the garden

Phindy's Place Challenge 81 - Thankful
Welcome to this week's Phindy's Place Challenge, which is all about being thankful. My Thank You card uses an old favourite, Mrs Comfy and Pogg. Here Mrs Comfy is being careful to keep Pogg dry as they go for their walk:). I really wanted my image to be a good size so I could enjoy colouring it without agonising over tiny bits of image, so I chose to make it an easel. Image is coloured with Coics and Distress Ink. The DP is Basic Grey Sweet Threads, I added a computer generated sentiment, some stitching, some buttons, a Martha Stewart punch and a bit of glitter for the puddles.
My card is for:
Basic Grey - anything goes
Pile it On - give thanks
Incy Wincy - stitching
iCopic - thank you
Digital Tuesday - anything goes
Creative Card Crew - thankful
Sisterhood of Crafters - giving thanks
Penny's Paper Crafty - give thanks
Digistamps4Joy - with gratitude
Paper Pretties - buttons
Aud Sentiments - thank you

Gnome Sweet Gnome
I've been using a new stamp set from Stamp Addicts called Gnome Sweet Gnome which is very different from the Trees and Scenics I've been working with, they are really fun images and here's the first card I have to show you. I love the way he's putting his feet up on a toadstool! Chair is paper pieced with some Basic Grey from Sweet Threads, the last scrap of it is in a strip across the card. Mr Gnome is coloured with Copics, some Glossy Accents on his spectacles and Distress Ink in Pine Needles on both backgrounds. I've gold embossed toadstools from the set to make the background and embossed the sentiment too. Hope you like my Gnomie:).
My card is for the following challenges:
Squirrel & the Fox - hats and flowers - not a Melbourne Cup hat but definitely a hat!
Aud Sentiments - make us laugh
Charisma Cardz - cutesy
Sarah Hurley - use more than two images - gnome + lots of toadstools
The Paper Variety - laughter is the best medicine
Whimsical Wednesday - anything goes
Stamp'n'Doodle - emboss it

Wintry treescape
I was driving north yesterday and enjoyed a glorious wintry sunrise, this easel card is an attempt at the stunning colours, all using Distress Inks in Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Worn Lipstick, Weathered Wood. Trees and Dottiness stamps are from Stamp Addicts, I used the dotty cloud to create the card base. Sentiment is from Pink Petticoat and lacy ribbon from Stamp Attic. I drew in the birds with a permanent marker - even I can draw these!
My card is for the following challenges:
One Stop Craft - no designer paper
Bearly Mine - easel does it
Raise the Bar - orange and black
Aud Sentiments - sentiment and a winter theme
Tuesday Taggers - taking to the skies

Green Door
Here's that lovely Christmas Door set from Stamp Addicts used again, this time I've added nothing but the wreath to it. I've followed the sketch at Cute Card Thursday, using Memory Box DP and a piece of embossed and torn cardstock. In real life it's a lovely deep red,, will try to take a better picture later if the sun ever comes out, it looks brick coloured here! I've added Stickles to the card candy and the wreath Glossy Accents to the fanlight.

Phindy's Place Challenge #64 - Doubling Up
Welcome to this week's Phindy's Place Challenge, this week we are challenging you to use two of something on your creation. It does have to be two - no more and no less! As long as there is at least one doubling up on your card that is fine, quite a few of us on the DT have had fun putting LOTS of pairs on our cards!
You don't have to use a Phindy image but we hope you will and
if you do, follow the instructions on the sidebar and enter your card
twice for two chances to win.I used an old favourite image for my card, Celebrate with Cake. The colourscheme was suggested by the flowers that I made at stamp group this week, which use a technique that was new to me, called rocking and rolling. I loved the flowers that I made and added some Stampin' Up DP to them that was a gift in with a recent SU. The flowers have been covered in Glossy Accents with pearls added. I have doubled up on: flowers, pearls, rhinestones, card candy, DP, ribbon and knots.
I'm entering my card for the following challenges:
Stamp Something - embellished
Cardmaking Mamas - food & drink
Digis with Attitude - anything goes
Guylou's Inimitability - 1 image, 2 papers, 3 or more bling
Aud Sentiments - enjoy your day
Shelly's Images - anything goes
Crafty Creations - seeing double
Paperminutes - blue, brown, beige
Pixie Cottage - fun with food

Phindy's Place Challenge #59 - Water
Good Morning and welcome to the Phindy's Place Friday Challenge. This week our challenge is water: images with some water in there somewhere. I used the adorable image Seaside Baby, but I was amazed to see just how many images Phindy has that include water. You don't have to use one of Phindy's images to enter, but you double your chances of winning if you do! So why not check out the watery images in the shop?
My card has ended up very simple, I made a shaker card containing sand and by the time I'd framed my image there was little space to add anything other than my sentiment, which came from Create with TLC. The image is coloured with Copics and some Stickles, the DP is Basic Grey. I do hope you'll join us this week and make a watery project.
My card is for the following challenges:
Sweet Stampin' - playing in the summer sun
Paper Sundaes - let's get sentimental
Digital Tuesday - in the garden/outdoors
Aud Sentiments - summertime
Paper Pretties - summer
Truly Scrumptious - summer sparkle
